Membership information
Individuals may be invited or may petition to join an active chapter of Pi Gamma Mu when they are a junior, senior or graduate student in the upper 35 percent of the class, with at least 20 semester hours in social sciences and an average grade therein of "B" or better.

REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN
To be eligible for PGM membership, you must:
- Have a declared Social Sciences major
- Be a Junior or higher class standing
- Have at least 3.0 cumulative GPA in Social Sciences courses only
- Have at least 20 earned Social Sciences course credits
- Attend an information session
- Participate in 2 meetings each semester
- Participate in 1 service activity each semester
HOW TO APPLY
Please complete the following steps in order to apply for PGM membership:
- Fill out a Pi Gamma Mu membership form
- Prepare to pay the one-time lifetime membership fee of $50. We accept cash or check (checks should be made out to "Pi Gamma Mu")
- Submit payment to ACCESS in Dean Hall, Room 2
